DCVA (Dutch Cardiovascular Alliance), RegMed XB, BioGeneration Ventures (BGV) and its fund FIRST proudly announce that their joint Thematic Tech Transfer (TTT) program has been awarded €10 million in funding by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

On October 1, 2025, in front of a full house, Cureon – the new Innovation Center for MedTech and BioTech – officially opened its doors at High Tech Campus Eindhoven. The initiative, driven by High Tech Campus Eindhoven, Smart BioMaterials Consortium (SBMC), Brainport Development, and Brabant Development Agency (BOM), marks a major step forward for healthcare innovation in the region.

Professor Marianne Verhaar, leading internist specialized in kidney disease, head of the Nephrology Department at UMC Utrecht, led the UMCU’s strategic program Regenerative Medicine & Stem Cells, Regenerative Medicine Utrecht for over 10 years, and one of the leaders of the RegMed XB Kidney Moonshot.
