Although the National Growth Fund has officially concluded following its third round of funding, several million euros remain available for promising new initiatives—especially in the field of Health & Care.
Biotech Booster, Oncode Accelerator and RegMed XB continue to actively scout for high-potential projects. We are particularly interested in innovations that could accelerate cancer treatment development, advance biotechnology products and diagnostics, or move regenerative medicine forward.
"I think lots of researchers are still sitting on good ideas that could be converted into products with an impact on society,’ says Bernard Mulder, CEO of RegMed XB. 'And I completely understand why. First of all, publishing is often the main objective for researchers. And on top of that, not every researcher wants to become an entrepreneur. Even so, I think it would be a shame to take no action at all on ideas in regenerative medicine, to name just one area, especially if those ideas have the potential to move into the next stage. There are lots of technologies that are still in their infancy but that are of huge value to us."
In short: if you’ve been working on an idea that could make a real difference, now is the time to speak up. The door is still open for applications—and the impact could be substantial.
