The ISCT Annual Meeting is the largest global forum about cell and gene therapy that took places in Paris from May 31 – June 3 2023. 

On Friday the 19th of May 2023, from 09.30 – 11.30, The Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Osaka organizes the second day of the symposium on Regenerative Medicine in the Netherlands and Japan. With over 300 attendees, the first day of this hybrid event was a resounding success and a true showcase of the vibrant scientific community in both countries.

Onderzoekers tonen voor het eerst aan dat een slachthuishart een geschikt alternatief kan zijn voor het lab-dierenhart in ex-situ hartperfusiestudies. Dit een belangrijke stap voorwaarts in het terugdringen van het aantal proefdieren bij hartonderzoek.
