Dutch Startup Nestegg Biotech B.V. opened a crowdfunding campaign for seed funding on February 15, 2018. Startup Bootcamp Alum Nestegg Biotech is accepting funding through a “Crowdfunding Campaign” on Leapfunder.com with a goal of € 200.000. This “Seed” round of funding will be used to introduce new products in the Dutch academic research market. Nestegg Biotech is offering a new product called Unaflux to serve this market segment along with corporate labs. This product allows research to be automated in new, and better ways. Unaflux adapts the automated system Obruza to standard lab tools such as microplates.
Obruza is a novel automated system Nestegg Biotech has designed to provide “integrated automation” for laboratory management. Based in the Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus , in the southern Dutch province of Limburg, Nestegg Biotech expects to achieve preliminary sales within the fiscal year to customers within and around the campus.
An announcement of new projects with new partners is expected within the fiscal quarter.
