Translational Research
Our research pillar is dedicated to bridging the gap between scientific discoveries and their implementation in the market, aimed at benefiting patients. Our research pillar encompasses both "moonshots," representing long-term projects with clear goals, and short-term, promising projects, ensuring a comprehensive exploration of innovative solutions across varying timelines and scopes.
Moonshots
We bring together leading scientists, university medical centers, institutes and a range of companies in these so-called “Moonshots”: long-term visions of breakthroughs for patients.
Projects
In addition to our Moonshot programs, we actively conceive and facilitate prime "Projects" within the RegMed XB ecosystem. These initiatives are designed to cover overarching themes which are highly relevant for all Moonshots and the RM field.
Valorisation
We foster valorisation within the field of regenerative medicine by supporting the development of translational strategies for early-stage innovations to attract investments and progress towards the clinical phase.
Collaborating closely with the Dutch CardioVascular Alliance and BGV's F!RST Fund within a Thematic Tech Transfer (TTT) program, RegMed XB facilitates academic research with high valorisation potential at an early stage.
Our impact officers provide guidance and networking opportunities to determine which activities would add the most value to a project, thereby increasing the likelihood of securing additional investments.
Infrastructure: Pilot Factory
The RegMed XB Pilot Factory is one of the largest international infrastructures for regenerative medicine. It brings together all the expertise and infrastructure needed to bring regenerative medicine to the market. Our mission is to accelerate the development of new solutions for chronic diseases and to bring affordable regenerative medicine therapies to patients.
